Through the access to Tile Based Service from MapInfo Pro 10.5, you can now bring in OpenStreetMap raster- http://www.openstreetmap.org – data directly into MapInfo. Users should be aware of how this data has been collected and also the license – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap -gives a very good overview.
